WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?

My husband Craig and I join forces and to lead you in a 60 minute Movement and Dance class for ALL bodies.


WHAT TO EXPECT?

Craig will mostly teach and I will mostly add colorful commentary. Together we will move through active stretching, beginner ballet moves, some light cardio, variations on familiar yoga postures, fun modern dance steps and more! Yes you will get your heart rate up. Yes you will get sweaty. Yes you will learn some new things. Yes you will have FUN!


UM, I WANT TO COME BUT I AM A NERVOUS BEGINNER…

It’s all good. Craig is a retired professional New York City Ballet dancer but I am a total amateur and, honestly, don’t have much rhythm. Come move, breath and play with us in a no pressure, judgement-free environment. (You can always just turn your video off and entertain yourself as you watch me stumble my way through the steps).


OK YOU CONVINCED ME, WHAT DO I NEED FOR CLASS?

You will need an open floor, perhaps a foot or two wider than what you normally use for yoga. Wear workout clothes and socks and sneakers (and maybe an 80’s headband?). Apartment dwellers: we will be doing some jumping/bouncing so warn your downstairs neighbors. You will also want your yoga mat handy for cool down and Savasana.
