WELCOME FRIENDS

The literal meaning of the Sanskrit word yoga means to yoke, to join, to forge a connection with a deeper sense of self. According to the yoga philosophy this deeper self, or atma, is steady, clear and invincible. As yoga practitioners, we try to connect and identify with this inner stability as opposed to the external chaos of the world around us.

The practice of yoga offers us many different ways to explore connecting with our atma. Asana (physical practice), pranayama (breath work) and meditation are just a few. By cultivating openness, curiosity and wonder we can explore all the avenues that a yoga practice offers us. Each of us has our own journey and we make our own discoveries in our own time.

I am here to support you on your journey in any way I can.

“You do not have to be good.

You do not have to walk on your knees

for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.

You only have to let the soft animal of your body

love what it loves…”
